Dr Beth Green is one of the leading thinkers in the field of Christian education.

Originally a history teacher, she completed a doctorate at Oxford University and now runs the world’s most significant long-term study into the effectiveness of Christian schooling – the Cardus Education Study. Cardus is a Canadian think tank that specializes in the role of the Christian faith in shaping society for the good of all.

We caught up with Beth Green at the Christian Schools National Policy Forum to talk about measuring school effectiveness beyond the three ‘Rs.

The Cardus research explodes some myths about the Christian sector and shows that Christian schools may even make a greater contribution to social cohesion than some secular schools — if those schools only talk about religion but don’t celebrate it. Click here to view the podcast.
