Teach Like a Human

Playful Practice and Serious Faith in the Age of AI

Artificial intelligence is no longer on the horizon—it is already in our classrooms, our assignments, and our students’ pockets. The question is not whether Christian schools will engage AI, but how.

Teach Like a Human is a year-long professional learning journey designed to help your faculty think deeply—philosophically and practically—about teaching in the age of artificial intelligence. Together, we will explore how to remain grounded in your school’s mission while navigating rapidly emerging technologies. What does it mean to be human in an AI-shaped world? What does faithful teaching look like now? What tools should we embrace—and which should we resist?

This cohort experience invites your teachers to move beyond fear or hype and toward wisdom, courage, and thoughtful experimentation. Through monthly 75-minute sessions, collaborative design work, and real-world application, your faculty will develop practical strategies aligned with your school’s mission and values.

We believe educators are uniquely positioned to lead in this moment—not by imitating the culture, but by telling a better story.

We invite your school to join a cohort of curious and courageous educators committed to teaching like humans in an age of machines.

This professional development program is designed around a monthly opportunity (75-minutes sessions) to dive deeper into artificial intelligence and education, followed by a commit-to-try from the participant. Modules 1-4 are designed to be full faculty opportunities to learn and design together. Modules 5-8 are designed for affinity group (e.g. K-2 teachers, 3-5 teachers, subject level experts) learning and designing.
