Residency: A Place for Christian Deeper Learning

This is the inaugural year of the revamped summer RESIDENCY: A PLACE FOR CHRISTIAN DEEPER LEARNING. The Residency is a week-long intensive professional development opportunity that equips educators to implement Christian deeper learning into their current practice. Registration is now open for August 23-27, 2021. 

This year the Residency will be offering three courses: Project-Based Learning, Teaching for Transformation*, and Christian Deeper Learning: Worldview. Each of the courses feature a low coach-to-participant ratio. Participants will leave with a practical understanding of a deeper learning framework that can be immediately incorporated into their learning practice.

YEAR-LONG PROFESSIONAL LEARNING 

Two tracks have been designed to support professional development throughout the year. Through partnerships with SCSBC, the Institute for Christian Studies and Dordt University, the Residency is equipped to support professional growth beyond the one-week intensive.
