Introduction:
About a year ago I was introduced to Andrew Neumann and Open Sky Education at a Summit for urban schools. If you’ve read my blog over the years you’ll know my skepticism for Charter Schools, but I’d never come across an education provider that was a hybrid Charter School Management Organization as well as a Christian School operator. Over the course of the past year, Andrew has allowed me to ask a number of questions on Open Sky’s development, mission, strategy, and education policy pursuits. I think you’ll find Andrew’s purposefulness and big picture thinking refreshing as Open Sky seeks an opportunity to maximize its impact.

You’ll hear in this podcast that Andrew believes we’re about half way through a massive 50 year educational policy shift to creating greater access to more quality opportunities for students and families.
