Event Details

A common refrain from educators today is, “our students are not the students they were a few years ago.” This webinar will focus on the use of restorative practices for developing a school culture that enables our students to flourish as learners in the midst of the pressures they face each day. We’ll examine some of the core foundations of restorative practices–the Social Discipline Window, Student Voice, and Circles–in order to consider how we can create a learning environment that students want to come back to each day so they can reach their full capacity as students.

We invite administrators, teachers, and educational support workers to join us as we seek to support each of our students in their learning journey.

The webinar is taking place on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. (CT) and is being led by Dr. Owen Webb, the Director of Learning and Formation at Pacific Christian School in Victoria, British Columbia. Dr. Webb completed his PhD in 2018 in Educational Leadership with a focus on restorative practices as a means to developing school culture.
